This listing is for Titus 4ply, our extrafine merino/silk 4ply yarn, dyed to order in the quantity and colourway(s) you request - designed so that you can get sweater quantities (or more). We will dye this to order for you so that you have all one dyelot; we aim to ship the yarn within two to three weeks of your order being placed. If you order pre-order yarn with yarn that is in stock we will ship all items together once the pre-order yarn is ready.

Titus 4ply is a lovely, luxurious blend of superwash merino and mulberry silk. The silk gives it a gorgeous shine as well as strength. It is ideal for all sorts of projects, from shawls to garments and everything in between. It washes well in the machine, and because silk gives it strength it can take a lot of use - it's great for socks if you are unsure about pure wool yarns being hard wearing enough (just watch your tension so you don't get drapey socks!).

We recommend that you wash dark colours separately or wash a swatch before using dark and light colours together.

As with all hand dyed yarns, I would recommend that you use two skeins at a time, alternating from each one every couple of rows/rounds (unless it's a one-skein project).
