Baby Cocktails

aka Thea Colman - I'm sure you knew that already though! We love Thea's work, and have collborated on a number of projects now, so I thought it'd be really nice to celebrate this with a gallery of Thea/ECY projects and a chat to her about her work. It comes at a time when she's just released Pimms Cup on Ravelry as a single pattern - this was part of the Drift Collection which we released in September 2015. On top of that I've got print copies of Dubonnet and Cardamom Rose which I'm putting together into kits. "V: How...

Interview: Wool On The Exe

Today we're having a chat with Debbie and Mary Ann from Wool On The Exe. The shop is new this year, and is Exeter (as you might imagine), Devon. We've supplied them with yarn and I thought it would be interesting to ask them a few questions about the shop and how it's going so far. Can you tell us a little about yourself and your background? I (Debbie) am  an American who's lived in Devon for the past 9 years. Married to an Aussie - 2 grown sons, 2 step-sons. She did exactly that. When you see the pairs of socks together you can instantly tell they are from one cohesive collection, and they just look so cosy, appealing, and fun to both make and wear. We'll have Jane's books on our Wonderwool...

An interview with Justyna Lorkowska

Hello! As promised, today we have an interview with Justyna Lorkowska aka Lete's Knits for you. Justyna is a well-known and prolific designer, and we love her timeless style and classic knitwear which will never date. I feel we work well together, as I love wispy, floral tones in particular, and Justyna's style works really well with that. I'm sure many of you will know of Aisling, which was our collaboration in celebration of last year's Edinburgh Yarn Festival. This shawl perfectly demonstrates Justyna's gorgeous, classic and whimsical style. Anyway, I'll just remind you that you can meet her on...
